Moreton Stronger Communities Grants

The 2017/18 Round of the Moreton Stronger Community Grants is opening soon.

The Moreton Stronger Communities Programme offers grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 to community organisations and local governments for small capital projects that improve community participation and contribute to the vibrancy of our community on Brisbane's Southside.

Lions Art Show Entries Closing Soon

Calling all artists.  Entries are closing in a few days for your chance to win seven and a half thousand dollars ($7,500) in prize money through this year’s annual Macgregor Lions Art Show.

Brisbane Macgregor Lions Club spokesman, Mr Ken Mulcahy said entries would close on 1st June for the Art Extravaganza to be held at Garden City Shopping Centre Upper Mt Gravatt in the forthcoming school holidays.

City Cat Alliance

A group of locals based in Tennyson and Yeronga have started the City Cat Alliance. Their aim is to gather community support to extend the service to further upstream. If you're interested, please see their petition with the Brisbane City Council address below.

Aurizon Community Giving Fund

The Aurizon Community Giving Fund is now open for applications and closes 28 April 2017 at 5pm AEST.

The fund offers cash grants up to $20,000 in the areas of Health and Wellbeing, Community Safety, Environment and Education.
