Labor consults with Moreton Small Businesses

Shadow Minister for Small Business, Michelle Rowland has joined Member for Moreton, Graham Perrett today in Sunnybank Hills to meet with the local small business community.

Small businesses throughout Moreton have a diverse range of needs and it is vital government is responsive to these in order help them flourish.

 

“It’s important for us to get behind our local businesses.  Small business creates local employment opportunities and make a positive contribution to our local community,” said Graham Perrett MP, Member for Moreton. 

 

“Small businesses in Moreton reflect our diverse community and are a great example of our multicultural success”, said Mr Perrett.    

 

“Labor’s positive plan to advance small businesses will be informed by thorough consultation with small business owners and employees throughout Australia,” Ms Rowland said.

 

“As the Australian economy transitions, the role of our small businesses as drivers of economic growth and prosperity has never been more important.”

 

Small businesses are at the forefront of innovation, productivity and opportunity and Labor will work to help small business grow and prosper.
